May 27, 200817 yr I recently saw a chart called FAT INTAKE AND BREAST CANCER MORTALITY. It showed that Thailand had the lowest dietary fat intake and the lowest levels of breast cancer deaths, out of 38 countries. The major western countries scored poorly. The chart was based on a 1975 International comparison by Ken Carroll and may not mean very much taken in isolation. Anyway. How interesting that Thailand should score so well. Does Thailand publish its health statistics? If so, where might I find more recent stats?

Alpha Research every year publishes a big book full of statistics about "Public Health" in Thailand (or a similar title), available at Asia Books or directly from Alpha Research

Thai Dr and another Country Research Manager I work with were talking about the rise in breast cancer in Thailand recently - I will ask them where they look up their info when I get back to work after exams.
