First step is to go here, get a form and fax/mail it in to the number/address provided... https://electionimpact1.votenet.com/declare...lf/absentee.cfm Personally, I had my ballot sent to my home address in the USA, and will get someone there to forward it to me (by express post if necessary). If you apply for an absentee ballot, but don't get it in time, you might still be able to vote using the write in ballot. Learn more on the US gov Federal voting assistance program website - http://www.fvap.gov/ Most deadlines for absentee ballots are after October 20 - but best act now. With the polls showing a dead heat, expats and travelers votes could well decide the election. Not a bad thing, I think, so... Vote! Vote! Vote!
