I have read most of the posting here and just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Here are the facts:

* I am from the USA but now live and work in a school in Bangkok. My girlfriend is Thai

* I want to take her to the USA next March, 2009, for a stay of two weeks meet the family and see Disneyland

* I will be covering the cost of her airfare and lodging

* We will be returning to Thailand

* She has a steady job as a nurse and owns her own car.

* We are "engaged" but do not plan to get married anytime soon

With that said, I believe getting her a tourist visa (or visitor's visa) would be the best option. The time frame for getting this type of visa is shorter and less labor intensive then getting a fiancé visa.

Also, do we need to know the EXACT dates of our travel or can we give an estimated time of arrival in the states?

Have I missed something? Am I on the right track or should I go another route?

SO....is a tourist visa the right way to go???? Alittle help here would be appreciated :o
