Suspected Drug Dealer caught by Provincial Narcotics Officers in Naklua.

Over the weekend, Police Major Anaerg from the Chonburi Provincial Police Narcotics Division held a press conference at Pattaya Police Station to announce the arrest of Khun Somprasong aged 31 at the Boom Boom House Apartments in Naklua.

He was arrested following an undercover operation where he was the main target. The suspect had been tracked for some time and was thought to be dealing in class 1 drugs. An officer approached the suspect outside the apartments and he was found to be carrying 193 Yabba Tablets. Back at the Police Station, the suspect revealed to Officers that he had purchased the tablets from an Agent in Bangkok for 200 Baht per tablet.

He intended to sell the tablets here in Pattaya for between 300 and 400 Baht. Khun Somprasong is now facing a lengthy spell behind bars assuming he is found guilty of dealing in class1 drugs in court.
