So. I know I've missed bike week here in Phuket. But; do any of you guys get together for a beer/ride any other times?

Generally speaking there are "major" rallys once a month (or more) all over the country. Every city with more than two motos seems to have it's own Bike Week.

Problem is, a lot of them aren't well advertised (especially for farangs that can't read Thai). If it weren't for my buddies telling me, I wouldn't have known about most of them.

In Phuket I imagine there are a few bars where riders tend to hang out (try the Blue Note Bar, Fat Boy Saloon, Kangaroo Bar and/or Nicky's Handlebar).

Here in Pattaya there are quite a few (Easyriders, Lam Morrison, the Harley Bar, Sharkies, Shark Rider, etc). Got to find places and meet some other riders in your area.

Here is the link to Nicky's Handlebar site: Nicky's Handlebar

Check out some of the links here: Links / Motorcycle Thailand

It's divided up into links for different things in different areas (although some look pretty outdated, and some links probably don't work).

The Phuket Bike Week website: Phuket Bike Week also shows some upcoming events (ignore the "Phuket Bike Week 2005) banner at the top of the page. On the Thai version it reads "2008").

You can also look at the Power Station (Harley dealer in Bangkok) site: Harley-Davidson of Bangkok, Thailand

Sometimes you'll see upcoming events on there as well.

Or this site: HD Playground (note: mostly in Thai) where I see there is a Hat Yai Bike Week from 4-5 July.

The Ride Thailand site (also in Thai, can't find an English version of it), shows a number of events: Ride Thailand Magazine

This place shows events and upcoming tours as well: V-Twin Tours

That should get you started at least ! Have fun.
