That sky adventures seems to only be overpriced 15minute joyrides. You can get your thai pilots licence for around 300,000bht training with the chiang mai flying club (google it). Give them an e-mail, maybe they teach micro lights aswell as single prop. Please let me know what you find out its been something i've pondered taking up. cheers

jumnien
I have an FAA license from the US. There used to be a guy named Tom Grieves in Pattaya teaching at Eastern Flying Club. You have to be persistent in aviation in Thailand. Don't just give up because something is odd or difficult. Keep on pursueing your passion! cloudhopper
The link for Tom's (who is the only licensed microlight instructor in LOS) microlight school in Pattaya is www.flythailand.com and the best link for airplane and glider flying in CM area if you want to learn the real thing is www.nokaviation.com As the previous poster said, considerable persistence is required - I can't even find out about CH 701s.... What do you want to know? They are a great little plane for Thailand. No longer produced in ready-to-fly form; it is still for sale as a kit plane or a used owner built plane. I'll be selling mine in a couple years.
