Head Hunting In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hello all,

If one wanted to find good help in Chiang Mai, say for a restaurant or guesthouse or bar, how would one go about it? We have Thai friends of friends who sometimes work out, but to get fresh blood is nice. Experience isn’t necessary, but some English is useful as the client base is farang. Someone mentioned bulletin boards at one of the universities. Anybody know about that?

Also, can anybody out there recommend a good security company for posting security guards overnight? The folks we currently use are unreliable.

Appreciate any info.

Thanks

I thought that sort of thing went on in Borneo . . . not CM!

Just print out your ad in Thai and English and post around the campuses. You will find that some boards require permission but others do not. This is usually evident from the nature of the other ads and the look of the board. Try the international schools, too.

Mai Rim job centre.

Next to the government tax offices and civil court.

It`s a huge place thousands of job applicants on file for you to browse, plus more job applicants on their computers for public viewing.

You can also advertise your work vacancies in the job centre, for 2 week periods, free of change.

Only snag is that all the job wanted ads in the files are in Thai. So if you cant read Thai, take someone along that can translate for you.

Good luck.
