Can anybody help me with this one:

I want to fly Bkk-Manilla return in December 2004. (14/12/2004 out - 21/12/2004 back)

I live in the UK for most of the year, 2 months in Thailand at the moment.

If I book through the lufthansa online booking form and i select I live (domicile) in Thailand then the fare comes back at about 8000 baht return, nice fare. However if I say I live UK then the fare jumps to about 24000 baht (£333.00) massive amount. The link I am using is here:

http://www.travelxl.com/cgi-bin/links_axl.cgi?linknr=LH

Question:

I got an address in BKK if need be with my g/f.

What to do?

Go through with the booking as Thailand domicile or can I book in BKK and get a fare around 8000baht?

Regards

John

Book as domicile Bangkok, I did not follow the whole link, but the ticket

will be e-ticket. So they might want a fax or e-mail address (use hotmail or whatever you have) and a credit card.

฿ 8240.00

Check the restriction tab: One of the conditions, you must be miles & more-member. This can be done easily, apply online and you get your membership number.

Btw, these fares are for introduction of LH - extension Manila, Saigon, Kuala Lumpur, valid til end of this year. I don't think you will have any problems, I do the same when in Europe and state my domicile Germany,

They actually did not send me an e-ticket, just confirmed by e-mail and asked me to show my (same) credit card for check - in.

Good luck

get your ticket booked and confirmed at Bkk airport with philli air. you can book on the phone, you get a reference number and then pay and collect you ticket from their desk at the airport.

price around baht 7,600.

philli air flight is basic but i found this to be the best and cheapest option.

they did not ask me if i was phoning from thailand or overseas, however it is a good idea to give them a local [thai] tel contact number if they should require to make contact with you.

please note: that this price is for a ticket booked sept -2004 , i am not sure if this price still applies.

good luck.
