Road Tax

Featured Replies

I have a Toyota Vigo 4 door Auto and need to renew the the Road Tax:

I was told last night it costs 6800 bht fpr 1 year but I think this is incorrect:

Anyone done this recently ?

The rate reduces every year, but comparing your figure to a conversation last week with a mate that has a 3.0 Diesel Vigo a few years old it sounds in the same ball park.

If you look in the back of your registration book, it is stated there. Note : be sure you have your CTPL insurance with you.

Just done mine. Around Bt6800 or so with a little bit on top at the Pattaya place. In and out in 10 minutes, very painless (except the coughing up of cash of course).

Isuzu 4 door pick up.

1050 Baht for 2 door pickup. Wife wanted a 4 door model but I said no. Surprisingly she did not argue too much!

Gotta do mine soon (Camry 2.4), but I don't have the blue book. The car is on finance, although i have recently renewed insurance using a copy of the book.

Does a copy of the blue book suffice?

The difference here is that the blue book needs to be presented in order to stamp/print the tax payment information in the back. I'm just guessing and would like the answer to that also since I will be in the same situation soon, but seems the finance office would handle it in proxy with you just supplying them with the payment.
