Why is the 'Chelsea FC thread one of those selected at the bottom of the page?

I find this new feature rather strange - four or five supposedly similar threads recommended - and they have nothing to do with the kiddies throwing toys out of the pram, or whatever else is on the Bedlam menu today.

(It's peeing down here in Vietnam and I'm bored. Cherry Hinton Folk Festival at the end of the month - used to listen to it from my back garden when I was 'home'. Now all I've got to look forward to is the Smog Olympics.
