The bangkok expats' association

To clarify matters for everyone, apparently there is another organization forming under the moniker "Bangkok Expats Club."  We at the BEA know nothing of this other than what we've heard and seen on the internet.  No one from that group has contacted us, so we have no confirmed information one way or the other regarding it.

We also hope everyone understands we are in no way whatsoever associated with the other club -- our hands are plenty full getting The Bangkok Expats' Association up and running!

On another note, we've landed our first corporate sponsor, Asia Land Solutions, headquartered here in Bangkok.  Once we have a website up and running, we will be feautring ALS's banner most prominently, advertising the fact that it is our first original founding sponsor.  Friends at two other corporations believe their headquarters will approve sponsoring the association, and they themselves are eager to do so, though as we just spoke with them yesterday, they need to clear it with their bosses.  And we are dealing with a number of other potential sponsors.
