Computer Shop In Nai Harn

Featured Replies

So My computer has gotten ill (all thai characters that dont form words in Windows). (normal programs are ok).

I dont have time to go to my regular PP IT House.. has anyone used the repair shops in Nai Harn ?

I am thinking of the one next to Kallots , next to L'orfeos..

Any ideas?

Thanks so much.

Don't know about that particular shop, but would definitely be worth your while taking your computer to the shop at Chalong, after the circle towards Phuket Town set back on the right hand side next to a 'beauty shop'. Best I've found.

the only experience i have of the one next to kallots is when i bought a network card of him and asked him to install it, after he had mucked about with it for a over an hour without success i took it home and did it myself - i think the fact that it didn't "plug & play" defeated him

I'm waiting for steelpulse to chime in here, on an earlier thread he said he got some really scheit service there.......

I've had a couple less than positive experiences there.  But when my HD under warranty went down, they did get me a new one.  Somehow I think that if you need service there are probably better options, but at least the guarantee for HD is honored as I have had two go  out on me ( I live by the sea and the salt air seems to corrode the insides of my tower.)

P&P IT house. Yes the best I agree. Will have to make the time.

Thanks for the replies.

We have used this place several times over the past few years and have always found him to be good. Why not just pop in and check it out? His name is Ben and he speaks excellent English. Used to live in the US I believe.

Would have to agree, the guy in nai harn that your on about is nice enough, but was charging 3,500 baht more for a wireless router, than the folks in chalong next to the beauty shop. I give them my business from now, their grasp of English is ok too.

choppy

there is a decent computer store in Rawai and across the road they own an internet cafe. I think its next to B&B massage

I had the guy over to install a wireless router and it never got installed or working properly and I still had to pay him 2000 baht.  To this day the router is sitting collecting dust.
