Where To Get Big White Boards In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy some big white boards. So far I just see smaller ones. Where I work the large conference room boards are glass which I suspect is more expensive. (am I wrong?). I was just thinking of the basic white boards. I don't even care if they have frames. Ild like something about 4 feet x 8 feet (1.22 m x 2.44 m).

Any good ideas where to buy these?

Office Depot or Makro Office should have these. Some of The Mall Department stores also have them.

The larger shops that sell plywood also have the whiteboard type of laminate. By a 4 x 8 sheet of each and a can of contact cement; you're in business.

that's a smart idea!

Thinking about it a little more, you could probably just glue the laminate stuff to the wall. It would be a more or less permanent installation though.

Hey, someone beat me to it. Go to a timber shop and just select a sheet of plywood and a sheet of white laminate (and a can of adhesive). My wife started doing some tutoring and we looked at whiteboard prices/sizes. Then went the timber shop route and made one (big) for 540 baht! Fastened it to the wall with screws. Works just fine and we saved 000's.

Bought a 120 x 240 cm whiteboard a few months back. Think it was something like THB2000 delivered (Bangkok).

Will be doing the same. To deal with the kids' writing/drawing on the wall phase without stifling their creative drives.
