What is the proper procedure when buying a second hand pick up truck from any dealer?

Walk in with the cash and drive away, easy.

Very open ended question.

Do you mean transfer of registration etc?

Check it very carefully! Thais normally do not maintain anything, at least not properly, i think... In many cases i think a new one would in the end not be much more expensive, but less troubles...

Need a pick up truck for the farm quite urgent . what i need is things like transfer of registration , insurance , and anythings else . Would not buy a new one for the farm . No way . Thai drivers are drivers from hel_l .

You just make sure that the owner is genuinely the owner. The Office of Land Transportation can provide a list of all the documents on both sides of the deal, and i don't think the rest will be very much of an issue.

Thai drivers are not from hel_l; just very selfish in general! :o
