Chaweng: Monthly Rate ... Less Than 20.000 ?

I am not sure if there are topics with the same content already,

I did not find any information ...

I am looking for accomodation in Chaweng area for 20.000 or less!

I don't need luxury ... I only need minibar, TV, aircon, hot water ... wi-fi would be advantageous!

Location: Chaweng area!

There are some nice places ... for example the Baan Saen Sook Villas ...

15.000 for a new house with all the things I am looking for, including Wi-fi

But for sure, there are some more resorts in this area ...

any recommendations?

Baan Saen Sook Villas is a nice place, great pool. If you can get there for 15k, go for it. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to Green Mango. If you are looking for a resort along the beach for 15k/month it is really unlikely to happen especially this time of year. Although, you could go door-to-door and flash the cash you might get lucky. I stayed at a beautiful new place in Lamai last April. List price was over 4000/day and I got it for 1300/day (7 days) because it was 90% empty.

Baan Suan Sook Villas has no pool yet. I think you are talking about the resort :-)

The resort's pool is nice, I know ... but prices are a bit higher than the prices at the Baan Suan Sook Villas,

but the bungalows are older ... it is hard to decide!

I'm curious, the web site cost is around 10K a DAY, so around 300K a month.

When i asked for a monthly discount I usually got a 20% discount......

but in order to reserve they ask for credit card details because they need a deposit of 5000 baht.

is this a usual way of confirming a room?

November is the rainy month, they should pay you

But for december a deposit of the total amount is the rule....
