August 3, 200817 yr Last night at dinner with friends there was a lady who had been stung by a wasp on her left thumb and said she got a tetanus shot for it. This was in Switzerland. I thought getting a tetanus vaccination for it was overdoing it, but said nothing. Is it really possible to get tetanus from a wasp sting?
