Hi

i needed some help on applying a spouse visa.

I am indian citizen,i am 21 ,i got married to my british born asian wife in jan 2008 who is 20 yr old.we have been living togather in india for six mnths now she has gone to england in july for her scans and medical check ups as she is 3 mnths pregnant.

she is trying to work and we might have jst one pay slip to go forward with.she lives with her grandmother.....in her house which has sufficent accomodation for us and it is a full paid free house.she has around 2000 GBP in her bank account.

I have also travelled to uk 2 times before once on tourist visa stayed for 15 days and came bak.

then on WHM visa stayed there for an year worked for 9 mnths .....i still do have all my pay slips and p45 .i wonder if all this helps as this is 3 yrs old

since last 3 years i have nt travlled to uk due to studies & business reasons but she kept on visiting india evry year and now we got married.

I also have around fixed deposits in my name in india of 10,000 GBP....i hope this helps.

Rest all other documents we have like marriage certificate, property report, letter from her grand mother that we can stay with her.

i also do have proofs of us been in contact like call bills, msn ,yahoo.

marriage videos,cards ,photographs.

With that 21 years old rule coming soon what shld we do.

I hope someone can help.

thnx in advance

Vinny

You will simply have to ensure that either your application is submitted prior to the rule change or wait until you are both 21 or over.

Once the rule changes, then irrespective of whether the other requirements of the Immigration Rules are met, an application would be bound to fail.

Dear Scouse

so do you recommend taking a chance with these number of documents or its better to wait and try to get more pay slips.

are there any chances of visa with only these no of slips.

Is your wife a Thai national?

no she s british as i have written before

The number of payslips which should be submitted is not cast in stone. The Immigration Rules simply say that you have to demonstrate that there is adequate income/savings at the date of application for you to take care of yourselves and that this is likely to continue. Your wife's most recent pay slips, a letter from her employer and bank statements showing her wages being credited to her account should be sufficient to meet this requirement.

If I were the visa officer, though, I would wonder how you're going to support yourselves once your wife finishes work in order to have the child.
