Hey folks. I am flying back to BKK on August 29, and thought I would ask if anyone wants me to bring in gear. For the past few weeks I was scouring craigslist for riding gear (arai helmet, armored mesh riding jacket, kevlar gloves, etc.) because my cousin bought an FZR and I wanted to give him some good gear (like the stuff you can't get in Thailand) for a present. So anyways, uncle has told him to get rid of the bike, so I have gear which I can dump. And, since I was toying with the idea of buying the bike off of him, I was toying with the idea of bringing in some more gear (with...ummm...markup) to offset the cost of the FZR. So, I was going to ask if anyone had suggestions for anything in particular to bring in with me. Keep in mind I am thinking of stuff that would be fairly easy to dump (stuff that everyone would want) like good quality helmets. Suggestions? Wish list anyone?

Very light mesh body armour would be ideal. Like the stuff the motor X boys wear under a shirt?

I've got a mesh armoured jacket, but it's still too hot and difficult to carry when you're off the bike.

Also - not for me as I've got one, but a well vented lid would be in demand.

Caberg Breeze is one good example.

The mesh armored jacket is a Godsend for me. I got one because I was getting a 'farmer's tan' around the arms, and wanted something to prevent me from getting dark. I have been looking around to see how many of them I can grab, but since it is summer here, not many people dumping them (like they would in winter). They can be a little bulky and a little hot. A trick that I use is to wear like a 'wifebeater' undershirt and get the jacket slightly wet (but not that it is dripping) and when you are riding, it's like air conditioning.
