Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, i'm looking to buy a few new chef jackets for my work, if anyone knows of any shops selling this kind of thing I would be so grateful. Thanks in advance :o

I'm a chef. well used to be a chef. Trying my hand at retitement now.

Anyway, i can remember looking for chef's jackets a couple of years ago while in Bangkok. The chef at the Amari Watergate showed me a place in a mall near Pantip Plaza on the other side of the road.

The mall specialises in garments and fabrics and has about 4/5 floors. There was a place in there that made them to measure in many styles. Took about a week. Very reasonable price and well made.

If you walk around you can't miss it. On the 2nd/3rd floor if i remember.

Sorry can't remember the name of the mall. Maybe someone else?

There's a couple of buildings opposite Panthip that match the description RR gives but there's also a uniform shop down the road from Panthip, on the same side near the Indonesian Embassy, as you head towards the skytrain station. They might have some.

Thankyou all i'm not over there till April but i have friends in bangkok so might ask them to have a look for me if you know of any more places that would be great, if i could get an address and a name so it makes it a bit easier. thanks again

I've just remembered that there's also few shops that sell uniforms on a street that leads to the "Big Swing".

I think it's Kreung Chareon (New Road)? In the area of Chinatown.
