Any Flooding, Travel Problems In The Area?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, have a link here ( http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Visa-Stamp-R...99#entry2204199 ) on the travel forum, hope its ok to re-direct.

Need to go up to Mae Sai soon from Chiang Mai but heard there are some problem weather conditions/flooding en route.

Would like to know if I need to make alternative plans.

Tnx :o

The pinned Mae Sai thread has a couple of posts on the floods, eek.

The general opinion is that if you stick to the Super Highway you won't have any problems.

Oh tnx so much :o

Just returned from Chiang Mai - Mae Suai & return along R118 & noticed nothing, apart from a few sandbags alongside the road in Pa Ngiew. So the situation is normal there.
