Sony A900

Featured Replies

Take a look at this link wherein they equate it to the Canon EOS 1ds MK 111 and it's half the price!

Coupled with the Zeiss lens attachments it looks a winner - BUT, what will Canon launch at Photokina?

My guess is Canon will top this Sony in a few weeks time with their new 5D and an uplift to the current 1ds Mk111.

Nevertheless, those Zeisss lenses are the bees knees

Looking through that review site, I would see the greatest problem is with the

lenses that are available.

It is all very well to say that old Konica Minolta lenses will fit,

BUT will they give you full functionality? Especially as this is

Sony's first venture into the full frame DSLR market......

If you really want a full frame DSLR then I would recommend the Canon 5D,

well regarded by several of our members.

Canon has an excellent range of lenses, all you could ever want, and more........ :o

There was a review in the Sunday paper magazine - I think it was Bangkok Post. According to this article, the image quality is disappointing. How much is this camera retailing for?

According to this article, the image quality is disappointing.

IME DSLR's need a little tweaking before you get the ideal image quality.

Did they try it straight out of the box??
