Ok, decided to apply for EEA family permit based on my dual nationality. I will apply using my right to irish citizenship and very recently aquired irish passport.

My question is this. I have traveled to thailand every time on my British passport. Should I then included it along with my new irish passport in the VAF5 application. It has stamps to show my visits but will its inclusion go against my application, as they might say i'm British and so should be applying for a settlement visa.

Thanks for all the help previously and I think this is my last question

I would include it, or a certified copy of it, as evidence of your visits.

This should not go against your application, as you have the right under EU law to apply for an EEA permit using your Irish nationality.

I didn't include mine when i went this route, as it has nothing to do with your British Passport.

Getting your EEA family permit isn't as long and drawn out as the UK SV is. For the purpose of this application, you are an EU citizen, living and working in the UK and you have EVERY right to be accompanied by your family.
