AN AUSSIE pub is being investigated for daring women customers to bare all down under in return for free booze. The Saint Hotel, in Melbourne, promises a "No Undie Sundie" this weekend, with women who remove their knickers and hang them on a wall getting £22 of free drinks.

The pub — which recently hired a dwarf to pour free booze down customers' throats — will also give drinks to ladies who flash their bras and underwear to staff.

But women's groups said the promotion was "almost an invitation to sexual assault."

Licensing chiefs said the event was "inappropriate".

I watched this with interest... the news not the lack of knickers, and considered posting it myself.

I see the the AHA, the Aussie pubs association has declared them a maverick and said that good hotels should concentrate on ripping off customers with poker machines rather than going down this path.

Would they be expecting an increase in their Japanese clientele ?

Not sure what the fuss is any ways. In Thailand, girls without knickers have been getting free drinks for years ! Just because some bar down-under decides to try and copy Thailand, it's major news ?
