Just some pics from Huay Luang waterfall in Phu Chong Nayoi National park, which is near Na Chaluai and The Emerald Triangle in the south east corner of Ubon Province. Quite a sight in the rainy season.

From the visitors sentre, walk down steep stone steps to the bottom of the waterfall, where a sandy beach makes it easy to have a dip in the "cold" water.

Recommended for a picnic. (if you're in the area)

BTW, you can buy Chang here in Oz now. About $40 per carton of 24 but the alcahol is down to 5 percent.

Been back to Ubon, but had to come back to OZ last week. The wife is having another baby, so I will be here until after the birth. Will drop down for the night when I get back,next year sometime . JIM

Thanks for sparking the memories! Spent many fine days at those falls 6-8 years ago.. Will return soon and your post reminds me to include them in the visit!
