September 29, 200817 yr Looking for a recommendation for a neurologist. I have visited one in CM Ram but problems persist. I did search and there was mention of a good one in Bumrungrad but prefer to understand the severity of the situation first if at all possible. Thanks
September 29, 200817 yr I have only used Ajarn (professor at the medical school) Maetapat, at Sripat Special Clinic, when I had my stroke last year. Not sure if you need some specialty (he does not seem good at numb fingers). You can register for an appt. at first floor of Sripat. I know he does consultations on the 12th floor on Sunday mornings, which usually cost me 200 baht. ///Added: I forgot I used some other neurologist at Sripat years ago, for my sleep disorder. You need to be specific about what your problem is - lots of specialists there.
September 29, 200817 yr Author Thanks PeaceBlondie for the reply. CM Ram diagnosis was 'cluster headaches' but medicine provided didn't provide any relief so prefer to seek a second opinion rather than revisiting. Symptoms are headaches that start in the centre of the forehead then progress to the left side where once they reach the left eye can remain for up to 2 days. Pain is intense. Researching online I suspect the diagnosis is correct but obviously need the professionals to confirm. Thanks
