He will not find anything for tourists.

I think he can find places.

Just ask Thai workers where they live.

Some hotel staff dont like the staffrooms so they rent

and share very cheap low standard places.

Lots of Thai apartments for 5k, especially near the jungle

roads.

Many dont have glass windows,

no aircon, no hot water, and they can be pretty dirty

on the outside.

If you are the outdoor type you can buy a tent

from Tesco for 500baht :o
