Does anyone have advice on Phitsanulok and surrounding area in terms of numbers of expats or in particular companies with expat employees based in the area?

I am travelling from Bangkok next week to meet a client and undecided if it is worth it without anyone else in the area to visit.

Having visited Chaiyaphum and Petchaboon before with the other half I am guessing what the answer will be but if there is any advice to the contrary then assistance would be appreciated.
