Building Plans

Featured Replies

Someone told me there is a Govt office that you can take your building drawings to and they will actually do a design with structural requirements and material requirements for about 5000 baht. Does any one know about this office? Am wanting to build a 2 story student type appartment building.

Thank you

Your local village/municipal office (Tassabahn) will have the Govt-approved and issued house plans. The Thai officials will know an architect who will draw up your plans including approval signatures and stamps. Mine cost 6,000B for a 20x11.5 meter single story house currently under construction 70 Km N of CMai. They can probably design your 2-story apt bldg too. Make sure you do this at the municipal office responsible for the area of your construction.

Also google Crossy's site for these plans in downloadable-friendly format.

Cheers.... :o
