Cinema On Koh Tao?

Long time lurker first time poster, hello to everyone

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a cinema on Koh Tao?

Also what is the nightlife like on the island?

If you want cinema and nightlife then stay on Chaweng, Koh Samui.

Koh Tao is all about diving.

Down by the pier there is a smallish cluster of restaurants and a few pubs. The opiate of the non-American masses is usually doled out in the evenings (football) and a ride south about 5 minutes or so will find you at some girlie bars. Similarly, at the crossroads at the north end of Sairee Beach is at least one more, and along said beach are drinking hangouts.

The girlie bars are pretty hayseed, but it lends to the ramshackle atmosphere in general.

By and large, however, it is a pretty low-key place, but I like it better than Samui in many ways.
