i seem to have a leaking roof and my most helpful landlady has had a thai guy quote me, ME, YES ME 7000 baht to repair it. i was wondering if anyone knew a good maintenance company or roof repairer

Maybe I misunderstand , but why does she not pay for it ? .Its exterior etc so is it not so she is responsible not you.

I watched my next door neighbor have his leaky roof repaired in amazement. 2 Thai guys and around a hundred tubes of silicone sealant. They just clambered all over the roof and put silicone on anything that poked above the tiles. You wouldnt believe the mess. Only here in LOS

Sounds pretty cheeky to me. There would have to be snow in Thailand before I'd pay for something like that.

yeah would like to tell her to stuff it but have paid for 6 months up front for a vastly discounted monthly rate so cannot just up and leave any ideas?

you could try yourself to have a walk inside the roof when it rains with a lamp and see where the leak is, then you have to apply Flinkote (available in homepro) and its done. total cost about 350bht

had a guy from ss building and roofing come round 2500 baht for the job and gave me 300 baht back as it took less time well impressed if anyone needs tel 0878576986
