Plenty of expats on here, I was just wondering where you chavs and sorts are surfing to get you updated news, both Thai and international..

Personally, I use the skynews website for international and Yahoo! news headlines for Thailand stories.

Anyone have any other recommendations...???

:o

there're loads:

BBC News - http://news.bbc.co.uk/

The Economist - http://www.economist.co.uk/

Guardian Unlimited - http://www.guardian.co.uk/

Deutsche Welle - http://www.dw-world.de/dw/0,1595,266,00.html

Daily Telegraph - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/

Times Online - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/

The Independent - http://www.independent.co.uk/

Financial Times - http://news.ft.com/home/uk

and many more

In the middle of Russia I'm a little short of English language newspapers so read my news online, I often listen to BBC Radio4 online as well.

My daily read consists of:

The Guardian - a good balance, owned by a trust not a media Mogul

The Independant - another balanced UK broadsheet

BBC News - accused by both the right and left of being biased so they must be getting it right!

BBC Radio4 - Today, World at One and PM also the Archers

International Herald Tribune - the best of the American press

CNN - you have to look in on them

Aljazeera - not impartial but no worse than Fox News

The Moscow Times - what's happening in my neck of the woods

I'll also take a look at The Nation online now and again.

The totally independant and unbiased BBC.CO.UK ... broadcasting on behalf of the Conservative Party :o Still think it's the best though... but then I am English.

www.cbc.ca - Impartial as I can expect a news network to be.

www.bbc.co.uk - As above, both built on similar model.

www.theglobeandmail.com - Again, pretty balanced

re: fox news: How th fck did the network that brought you married with children and when animals attack, all of a sudden become the conservative family values channel on its news chan? Opportunistic <deleted>.

I favor BBC (radio version)

I prefer Google News:

Google News

because it links to multiple sources of news on various topics. Makes it easier to see what take the Western, Eastern, conservative, liberal, etc. presses are all saying about the same thing.

If I can get online I usually go with Yahoo.

If I am staying at a hotel I usually make sure they have BBC World.

Oh and I often tune into Fox news for the comedy aspect. I cannot believe people take that channel seriously.
