Hua Mark Area

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Planning to move soon from Sukhumvit to Hua Mark area, as new company is based there, not too far from Assumption Uni. However, I never went there before, except for interview and wonder if anybody can give any feedback on life away from Sukhumvit/Silom, as it just too far to commute I might be staying there most of time during week.

So, how is it? What about shopping, accommodation, (cost for 2 bed room apartment?),restaurants, any pubs???

Many thanks in advance!!!

Tons of stuff all around Ram. Condos etc all over the area but I suggest really checking out the noise level at night on a weekend as you are surrounded by college students in the area.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink near ABAC. I personally live here right now, near the stadium. Noise level is ok since I don't live nearby the soi 24, but on a smaller yaek. Condos are a bit more expensive, but you could get a nice looking apartment, 60sqm, for around 10000 baht a month if you want good quality. 30sqm ones go for 5000. There is plenty of shopping too. The Mall Bangkapi is nearby, but so is The Mall Ram and Big C. Everything you need you will find in 2 km radius. I love living here because it's so lively and you rarely see farangs here.
