Good to know, so I understand statements can be a day or three beforehand for those doing so along with the letter whereas the bank book must be updated on immigration day with a small transaction on the day. Until last year I have always done everything on day with KBank in the same building but that will now change. -

Which bank do you use?
What exactly is supposed to be “dodgy” about my retirement visa? I had 800k in my account and provided the agency with all the required documents. I already had a bank account at Kasikorn Bank that had been opened 12 years earlier. Despite this, the agency insisted that I should open a new account at Bangkok Bank, which they offered to arrange for me. I didn’t see anything suspicious in that at the time. Now let’s suppose that some bank employees violated internal procedures when opening this new account (the account I neither wanted nor needed in the first place). How does it make sense that I am being held responsible for the bank’s own mistakes? -

I was refused an app yesterday by Krungsri Bank, even though I've used them for the past 25 years. I was told because I'm now 80 yo I'm to old to have an app on my phone. I have 4 different Thai bank accounts so I'll wait to see what happens before I take any action. What really concerns me how will it affect my retirement visa using an agent with no Bangkok Bank app -
