Vigo 2.7 - Engine Problems?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I'm looking for a car. Cause I'm not only driving in the cities and the highways I think a pickup is a must!

I found a second hand vigo, 2.7 petrol. This is the same engine like in the Fortuner 2.7. Are there any problems known with this engine? My friend told me, that he would never buy a petrol one in a pick up........my idea is, to change to LPG.

Thanks for your comments!

Hi ChaoPhraya, there wouldn't be a model on earth which hasn't a few bad ones amongst their number. But pick-ups can have a hard life. Maybe a mechanical inspection would be your best option.

Thanks BSJ! Yes I know....especially the Pickups in the Isaan! I'll check the car tomorrow and if I'm interessed in this, I'll bring it to a check point.

But has anyone a petrol Pickup?? How much petrol does this car need?

Thanks!

3 years no ploblems with vigo 2.7.

1 liter petrol 7 or 8 km.

why wouldnt you go for the diesel? save fuel, more torque and overall better choice for any pickup.

Can convert to LPG and they are all auto transmission.
