What are you after ? they do a lot of arthouse(non-hollywood) movies from europe, korea, japan. They do do some british stuff, but i don't think it's that extensive. I haven't been up there for a while - should go check it for yourself.

Prices are tumbling quite quickly.

Anyone after something non British like Friends, CSI or 24 could possibly pick them up for 80 baht per disc if you buy several series. The wife haggled and got 3 seasons (18 discs) of CSI for 1,440 baht at *anti* *laza.

I agree that this is not the cheapest solution for perhaps friends or other american series which you might find on the street.. The specialised stuff is the brit angle..

Pricing is like that cuase this is a cottage industry style process onto DVDR's.. This does not have enough volume to be printed and propertly pressed.

DVD's come with a printed cover that is branded with the supplier and the DVD image inset, not identical to the normal but a clearly presented nice package. DVD's are DVDR's.

Sounds fair enough to me. Of course British DVDs are not as widely popular as American series and with it being a cottage industry the cost seems reasonable.

The best way is to get one or two discs and then come into the Thai file share hub and blast them up to each other - thus spreading the cost. (and letting me get my hands on them hehehe) I think we have 3 seasons of simpsons, Chef S01 and 02, Everybody loves Raymond, Gilmore girls (I think only I like this chick flick stuff) Enterprise S01, S02 and much of S03, 6 feet under, Joey, My big Fat Obnoxious Fiance (sut yort), obnoxious Boss, 25M$ Hoax, Everybody loves Raymond, Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf S01 (waiting on Kabal for the rest), and other stuff as users come online... Also lots of movies. I'd be willing to buy some more and share it when I get some cash in - how much is the stuff you were mentioning?

Take a look at dvdTV.biz they have got loads and are farangs ! So good service, I have used them and quality, etc was great, I recommend Guns Of Navarone , by the way.

if you are in pattaya, then go to the pig and whistle on soi7, as well as rooms, good food and traditioanl british pub atmosphere they are also now selling british comedy dvd's including series such as Only Fools and Horses, Likely Lads etc..
