"lost" Green Book - Thai-made Bike - Any Possibility?

Featured Replies

Hi :o

A colleague of mine is looking for a cheap bike. And i have been offered another RXZ for cheap (2,000 Baht) but, once again, it comes without the green book and has not had taxes/insurance for about 6-7 years. As my colleague doesn't care (he only wants it for going up and down his soi) i'd like to get that one for him, with the option of buying it back from him after a few months when he's got enough $$ to get a proper one.

So now i'd like to know if it is possible to get a new green book for that bike, it's NOT an import of some sort but "Made in Thailand" and has 135 cc. And, if it is possible, how much would it cost??

Appreciate any input :D

Kind regards.....

Thanh

No idea on total cost but i know you have to pay the back tax and i think compulsary insurance. so already add 200+baht for each year not paid then i think change of owner ship is 1900b. but again not sure..... Richardbkk whats the answer :o

Yeah, I would love to know the answer to this too. My grandfather's bike (a 1960's era Suzuki) is a Thai bike, and I would like to get it back on the road. Not that it is a particularly valuable, or cool bike, but it does have sentimental value. We just can't find the greenbook!.
