New Restaurant In Kalasin

Featured Replies

For all the Farangs in the Kalasin area, last week a new Restaurant opened up in Kalasin. It is on the lake near the Bus Terminal, on the corner of the lake close to the Bus Terminal. It is owned by a Canadian and his Thai Lady, the Canadian is not there that often, but his Thai Lady is and she speaks good English. It is billed as a coffee house and restaurant. They have a menu written in Thai and English and have western food at reasonable prices. I ate there Thursday night and it was the most pleasant place I have eaten in Kalasin. It is in a nice quiet corner of the lake, so there is limited, if any traffic noise and a very nice view of the lake. For a nice meal or drink out I highly recommend it. I don't know if it has a name, but I call it "the place on the lake". Issangeorge.

I was there Saturday lunchtime and enjoyed a nice coffee. Had to wait a short while for the coffee to arrive, but as they are newly opened I can understand.

Didn't even know they made food until I was leaving when I saw some plates being taken to customers, food looked tasty so will definitely try it out.

Quite sure it is called "Frozen"

Be nice if they sold beer, would be lovely to sit outside on their terrace looking over the lake with a nice cold beer.

Totster :o
