Mahasarakam New Big C ?

Featured Replies

I am currently living in Kalasin, and have only driven to / thru Mahasarakam only once.... Anyway, could someone help me with proper directions when driving in from Kalasin / Yang Talat???

thank you in advance...

It is very easy from your direction. Take the 213 towards Maha Sarakham. You will pass through Kantarawichai and then as you get nearer to Sarakham, will pass the various developments around MSU's Kamrieng campus to the right. You will then cross the river Chi over a dual carriageway bridge, with rather dangerous arrangements for U turns at each end. Big C is about one kilometer on the left, just before you reach the by-pass turning to Khon Kaen. You never leave the 213.

easy peasy; get on the 213 a-road to mahasarakham, keep going, stay on this main road all the time, as you drive along you'll get past khatarawichai, keep going staying in 213, get past the Chi river (a 2202 road on your right to ban kham riang :o - markets on your right side of the carriageway) and you almost arrived. A few hundred yards on your left side there will be Big C, which is on the 213 road to mahasarakham city (you'll spot a PTT petrol station on the other side of the road, that leads back to kalasin, near the corner of traffic lighted major junction).

So to recap, Big C is right on the 213 road (appx 2kms away) that leads to mahasarakham city. You can't miss it. Big C is where the green pin is on the map below:

thank you to both of you.... Excellent directions, even for someone such as myself who can get lost going to the mail box... I will be making the "Shopping Run" over to Big C within the next week....

Thanks again,

Pianoman
