In the early hours of Saturday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chayaporn from Banglamung Police Station was called to a constructor’s campsite behind the Pattaya Indoor Stadium in Soi Chayapreuk 2 in Jomtien following reports of a serious fight at the campsite which reportedly left one man dead and a second seriously injured.

At the scene, Police inspected the body of Khun Tawai aged 24 who had been fatally injured. He was reportedly attacked with a knife and then a plank of wood.

A second worker, Khun Neung aged 25 was rushed to Hospital in a serious condition.

According to work colleagues a long running dispute between two sets of construction workers, one from this site and another from a nearby site has led to a number of physical confrontations which culminated in a deadly scuffle on Saturday Morning.

Police are now investigating this case as a matter of urgency but for now the attackers remain at large.
