Woodlands Hotel?

Featured Replies

Hi, am staying in pattaya for 9 nights at The Woodlands with husband and daughter and friends.

Is this a good choice? We get breakfast included and wanted a pool and aircon which it has.

Good family hotel, close enough to see everything pattaya has to offer without having it thrust down your throat.

When my parents first arrived I put them up there and they loved it, easy for the beach and beach RD.

Have a good stay.

The Woodlands is fine, but there is an awful lot of construction going on around the front of the hotel. Ask for rear rooms and you should enjoy your stay.

Eggy Is that still going on last time I drove past it looked complete

Thanks guys, i am really looking forward to it ,especially now you have given it a good rap.

Will be there in a couple of weeks

Cheers

Tuberose. :o

I stayed there this weekend. It's very good, especially for the money. Great location. You can go north onto Wong Amat beach if you like it quiet(ish) or round the corner onto the main drag if you prefer.

Construction work there all finished (they're now busy digging up the main Beach Road). The rooms down by the smaller of the two pools looked the nicest to me - cosy spot surrounded by the gardens - but the hotel didn't seem noisy generally anyway.

Enjoy your holiday. :o

Woodlands is one of my favorites in Pattaya. Be sure to try the pastry at the bakery in front of the hotel. They also have a happy hour (2 for 1 drinks) from 5-7 or so.
