For anyone who may have known him, I'm passing on this announcement from the Siam Society:

It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our dear friend, teacher and fellow Council Member Acharn Smitthi Siribhadra on Monday 17th November. He will be sorely missed.

The cremation will be on Thursday, November 27 2008 at 5.00 p.m.

H.M. the Queen will be arriving at 5.00 p.m. sharp, those members who would like to attend the cremation should a arrive at Wat Thep Sirin by 3.00 p.m. at the latest.
