Need Help In Ubon

Featured Replies

Hi, I just arrived in Ubon on the overnight train from Bangkok, hoping to get a flight to Cambodia. I have been told the Ubon airport has been closed by the yellow shirts and that they have been fights between them and the red shirts. Can anyone confirm this? Any advice would be welcome

Ubon only has flights to Bangkok, no international flights.

Cheers,

Mike

Closest exit for you from Ubon would be to head over to Pakse, Laos, should be able to arrange a seat on a van or bus from Ubon.

From Pakse, catch a flight on to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat), via Lao Airlines, http://www.laoairlines.com/, at least that routing is on their schedule.

There's flights out of Siem Reap on to The World, just do a google for such, if that's where you're heading.
