I just got back (19.30) from Phuket Airport. The guy at Firefly Airline told me that he had managed to get ATC clearance for extra flights to Subang (near KL) for tomorrow Sunday 30th, and that there are plenty of available seats on the 3pm flight.

So if you are trying to 'flee the sinking ship', this might be your best escape route

Just to clarify for those unfamiliar, Subang is the old Kuala Lumpur airport, not KLIA (same relationship that Don Muang bears to Suvarnabhumi).
