Dear all,

booked up to come to Thailand in January, I hold British passport , my girlfriend who is Romanian holds a three year visa for here in Japan. Will she need a tourist visa prior to arrival ?

Citizens of that country MAY NOT enter the kingdom of Thailand

without a previously obtained Visa.

You are required to obtain a Visa, prior to arrival in the kingdom of Thailand.

Verify that your Passport is valid for more than 6 months and contact the

Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in your (or nearest) country.

The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs web site is unclear and doesn't list Romania.
