Udon Bike Week/ Hotels

Good to be back in the Land of Smile!

Placed my order today for a new Kawasaki ER-6n and will pick it up on the 28th.

I've been on holiday so long my brain has turned to mush! Am I correct that the Udon Thani Bike Week is on February 6th-7th?

Looking forward to it! Please let me know the planned route if you've agreed on one yet- sounds like you guys want to ride straight north past Don Muang? If we go that way it's pretty much Highway 1 and then Highway 2 most of the way I think... Ok in a car, not much fun on a bike.

I suggested this route through Khao Yai National Park before. It only adds ~50km to the total distance and should be a lot more fun, so please let me know what you think:
