Best Singles Ad

Featured Replies

This has got to be the Best Singles Ad ever printed. It appeared in The

Atlanta Journal.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a

very good-looking girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods,

riding in your pickup, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter

nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of

your hand. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. I'll be at the front

door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Kiss me

and I'm all yours. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy.

Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society

about an 8-week-old black Labrador retriever. :o

just for the tell of it, i recall a personals ad in the village voice, long time passing:

woman seeking man who

1) speaks english

2) owns a suit

3) has forgiven his parents

At first it seemed like a case of low expectation, then I noticed she didn't request english to be his first languange, she didn't define when he wear the suit, and she didn't mention forgive for what, just assumed there's a point each of us must get beyond.
