Nikon 55-200 Zoom For Sale

Featured Replies

I messed up by purchasing a lens for Xmas for my father which he just bought so I have to sell it. It is brand new with warranty, receipt, box, hood, pouch and all included warranty not filled in ready for new owner.

Lens is a Nikon AF-S 55-200 DX VR so it's works with the D40 and D60 as well, and has image stabilizer, new price in Bangkok is 12,500,- but I'll sell it with a loss for 9,500,- Realizing I have no use for it since I got Canon...

PM me if interested, I live in Rayong so it's close to Pattaya and can send Nationwide.

Have you tried asking the shop to swop it for a different lens?

Here is the thing, and please use it as a learning for everyone.

I was in a rush to get a gift to my old man and went into Big Camera Shop in Leam Thong mall, bought it for a higher price than Fotofile but since I was leaving for work I just went for it. My wife tried to swap it to a AF 50 f/1.4 but no, no return even though it was 3 days earlier we bought it, never used and they refused. So I blackballed them forever in my book, and I bought a 50 lens from Fotofile by money transfer, and they will give me 9,500,- for the zoom when I get back and bring it with me to them, so for me it does not matter I get 9,500,- anyways but I though if someone wanted a bargain here on the forum I put it out for the same as I will get from Fotofil, I can imagine Fotofile will sell it as new when they get it.

Lesson learned is do not buy from Big Camera, they will not honor the purchase and I can imagine a warranty or claim issue will be a waste of time with them...
