If you are living in somewhere in the neighbourhood of a telephone exchange, try TOT or TT&T

If not, try CAT wifi.

For Thailand, all are reasonable.

Like the previous poster said, if you have a phone line, speak to one of the phone companies, otherwise you can try cat cdma - this only works if you are in range of a CAT tower ( I believe these towers are the ones you see at the back of the post office buildings, but i may be wrrong)

If you are in the middle of nowhere, then it's either GPRS, EDGE (using the cell phone network) or worse case scenario IPSTAR satellite internet, which is very disappointing, and rather frustrating.
