Long Weekend, What To Do, Where To Stay ...

Apologies in advance for my ignorance of the region ...

I've never been to CM before but am thinking about a visit in early Feb. It would be a long weekend, 4 full days and nights in the area with a travel day on either end. My Thai partner and her 10 yr old daughter will be with me, so it wouldn't be one of those solo aging git, bar-hopping, skirt chasing, drunk every night trips.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions on what to do and where to stay, especially activities or day trips that both a couple of adults and a kid would find enjoyable and interesting.

TIA for all useful replies.

Cheers,

Spee

None of us solo aging git, bar-hopping, skirt chasing, drunk every night type people in Chiang Mai would have a clue what a couple of adults and a kid would find enjoyable and interesting.

Please refer to any of the numerous posts on this subject by using the search function on this forum if it is not too much trouble for you.
