All Thais know the phrase "Made in Thailand" thanks to this song!

T-Dog, thanks for that, fond memories of Caribou in the early/mid 1980's. It was the big hit back then, another track from the same album was Ow Mai, Ow Mai, Ow, Mai Ow.

Strangely, back then the most popular song in the small clubs and coffee shops was Sad Movies by Sue Thompson.

Do the husle

That's the maddest link. Check out other links on the page - mad!

ps check out radio ga ga.

When all else fails and the airline's customer support refuse to listen to your justified claims to reimburse you for broken items, what do you do?

Record a song and make a rock video. :)

Flippant comment # 1: deja vu anyone?

Flippant comment # 2: That video is oddly familiar.

Flippant comment # 3: Is there an echo in here?

Just kidding Meadish! :D

Anyone notice though that the posts that provide links load faster than the ones that have the imbedded image? It seems like 3 to 1 faster here. Not sure what would cause that.

:) No worries T Dog, flippancy fully warranted - I can't believe you posted RIGHT before me... does this mean we know the same people? I was sent that link by a friend just 10-15 minutes before posting.

Wow, that is an amazing coincidence! I just ran across it during my morning coffee internet surfing! Hmmm, I wonder if it has something to do with my Mom being born just across the border from Tornio!!!

Fascinating part of the world. Did you by any chance read 'Popular Music from Vittula' by Mikael Niemi (or see the film)?

If not, the book comes highly recommended. The film is so-so.

Mikael Niemi is my grandmothers brothers son.

I'm Born in Pello.

Meadish... Haven't read that, but will be on the look out for it. And PoorS, it really is a small world when a name gets mentioend on TV and a relative is right there. As for me, Mom was from Kemi, Dad from old Karjala. He fought in the winter wars, wounded twice, and decorated by Mannerheim. Tough people back in that age.....

We live in an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny world. :)

It just got smaller: Just a few minutes ago on Thai TV Channel 3's "Woman-to-woman" show, they played the "United broke my guitar" video! I think their producer must peruse Thai Visa for program ideas.

I often wondered what the excuse was :D:D:)

Har Har! This video has been out for only three days and it has gone viral world-wide so it's on all the news sources now. Here's an update:

Here's my personal theme song

I'm an asshol_e and proud of it!

And a tribute to MJ from the poor buggers stuck in prison in Cebu Philippines

I guess it beats forced sodomy...
